Thank the gods.  I have two illustrators interested in my two book projects!  Not certain yet if goals and styles will mesh (they might both want to work on the same project), but I'm grateful for the near-immediate response. If this works out well, maybe I'll have enough funds in six months to a year to PAY an illustrator for my next children's book . . . and pay someone for the cover art for my first novel. Joie!

I'm a disabled writer with a need to collaborate with two amateur or student illustrators on two separate children's books. The first book is a tenth anniversary reprint of my late mother's tale about a bear and size-acceptance.  The story will require a minimum of 14 single page illustrations to accompany the text and 2-4 spot illustrations. (The original print had 34 single page illustrations in b&w with a color illustration wrapped across front and back covers.) The second project is about a baby who holds his family captive to his desire to play the same game all day long; told in rhyme.  The story will require 8 single page illustr
